With the insistence of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) registration, in India, it has become very difficult for charitable trusts to receive donations/contributions from overseas. LCIF has mandated the FCRA registration in order to be eligible to receive LCIF grants. A number of Lions Clubs; Districts; Trusts/ Foundations, are going through harrowing experiences due to this. Thanks to some recent initiatives of the Government, FCRA interaction is now made easy.
